Dive Responsibly

    Control buoyancy well to avoid crashing into and
damaging the corals, marine life, dive equipment, etc;

    Avoid going too near to corals and rocks as your
fins might accidentally damage them.  When near to
corals and rocks, fin gently and slowly.  If you are too
close, take a deep breath to float up and out of the
way before you start finning;

    Secure all lines and gauges properly to avoid
dragging them over the reef;

     Do not stick knifes or pointers into the reef to
anchor yourself.  If you have to hang on something
momentarily due to strong surge, find an area on a
dead coral or rock to hold onto; and

     Do not chase, harass or remove marine life.
You may injure them, causing them to retaliate
defensively or expose them unnecessarily to
predators.
